Dr. Iqbal remains committed to Mosaic Healthcare’s mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality care that improves quality of life for patients and families while redefining how supportive palliative care is provided throughout Texas.

Our goal is simple: to ensure every patient facing serious illness receives the compassionate support, comfort, and expert care they deserve.

How we work

An additional layer of care, not a replacement.

We work in addition to your PCP and your specialists. Our job is not to replace them, but to make sure everyone is talking to each other and, most importantly, aligned to the treatment goals you have identified. We are experts at symptom control and pain management, and we help you remain in control as you seek treatment.

01

Medication review and adjustment

Clinicians review your medications and adjust them as needed to address your needs.

02

Pain control

Supportive palliative care clinicians are expert at pain management. If you have pain due to an underlying serious illness, we can help.

03

Symptom control

Help with sleeping, breathing, swelling, itching, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, confusion and anxiety, among others.

04

Referral to other providers

Supportive palliative care clinicians can refer you to other services as needed, to get you the help you need.

Our team

Who you will actually see

Alongside Dr. Iqbal, care is delivered by nurse practitioners who specialize in supportive palliative care, supported by a team of more than 50 clinical, hospice and operations staff. Patients and families are surrounded by a caring network of clinicians, caregivers and volunteers who provide support, comfort and connection throughout your care journey.

Talking honestly

We cannot change the situation life has thrown us into.

We can, however, stop hiding from what is happening and talk about it clearly, so everyone is on the same page. We take the time to discuss what your illness means, and what we can and cannot do. Knowing the limits of what is possible helps clinicians, families and patients find a path forward.

We will never shy away from this type of conversation, nor will we ever abandon you. We are all in this together. Whatever comes, you will not face it alone.

Talk to us

Not sure whether it is the right time?

That uncertainty is usually the right moment to call. A conversation costs nothing, and it is often the fastest way to find out what help is available, whether or not you go on to become our patient.
